The Girls

Happy 8-8-08! We are going to watch the Opening Ceremonies for the Olympics and eat Chinese food! 8 is a lucky number in China, so we are going to celebrate. We are also going to have competitions from some word searches and other puzzles that Roma found online- she even printed off gold medals for the winners!

This week my sisters were here- I think we have just had a constant party since we arrived in California! Anytime it is just one of us talking about the other two we call each other 'the girls'. I think it started when Caitlin was too little to go to school and always asked when 'the girls' would be home.

Zach had a few first things this week:

First baseball game- unfortunately, the A's were out of town so we went to a Giants game :) We are not Giants haters, but A's fans for sure. The stadium was great and they gave us a certificate printed off with Zach's name saying it was his first game. Too bad they lost.

First time going to the beach! Which brings another first, first thing he really doesn't like. Sand. He got some sand on his hand and kept shaking it and wiping it on the blanket to get it off. Then we took all these pictures of him in the sand and he hated it. Love watching the water and being there as long as he didn't have to touch the sand.

Before the girls got here, Monday Zach, Grandpa and John all went swimming!
Monday...

Tuesday night we went to the Giants game: (Go A's)

Playing at the park and getting pushed on the swing by Grandpa:

Swimming and getting a new hairdo:

At the beach! The only second of the day where he left his hat on

He is so excited to not be sitting in the sand!

He is crying in this one cause he is so mad!

Crying again. He was super excited to be in his stroller just watching the waves. Well, now we know how to make this kid unhappy!
