Elizabeth had her 6 week appointment this week- and is a big girl!
11 Pounds! (75th percentile)
22 Inches! (65th percentile)
She had to get shots, which was sad as always. She is doing really well and sleeps! We go to bed late and then get up once and then wake up when Zach does. It isn't great, but better than it could be :)
Friday night we went to IKEA to return some stuff and look around, and got Zach some new shoes at a store down the street. He LOVES them. He gets all excited when he sees them or is wearing them.
Yesterday we went to see Toy Story and Toy Story 2 in 3D! It was really fun. The one problem was that the 3D glasses were hard plastic and only in an adult size. So the kids had these huge glasses that couldn't fit on their tiny noses. Zach left his on for most of the first movie, but was done with them by the second. He thought it was GREAT. He got to bring Woody (pretty much identical to the one in the movie...50 cents at DI and went through the washer of course!) and he got to eat all the candy he wanted.
He liked that the screen was so big and loved the movies...except when they fight. One time Woody and Buzz fight/wrestle, and one time Jessie and Woody fight/wrestle, and one time Prospector has his pickax pointed at Woody- Zach climbed into John's lap for those ones and was really sad. He liked them all in the end...and I think it is going to be very hard to not buy him a Buzz to go with Woody!
We just got the most recent update on the house...basically, I really want it to close this week. That gives us two weeks to close, two weeks to paint/clean carpets, and a week to move in and clean up. It would be even better if we could get into the house before closing, but we will see. We found out that the bank COULD possibly be done this week, so we are praying it does!
