We went to southern California in June for a whole bunch of fun events! My cousin Riley got his Eagle Scout- by the way, he has earned over 70 merit badges, and he's 14- but earned his Eagle when he was 13. He is amazing!
Then a few days later my cousin Maren (his sister) graduated high school! She left for BYU the next day. It was a fun and busy week...and the kids are now a little traumatized in watching Maren have to move out to go to college. Elizabeth still talks about how sad it is that Maren isn't home, but glad she is having fun (I keep telling them how fun college is).
The kids did great for such a busy week! It was basically like going to church all week for them- dressing up, having to be quiet, etc. John was able to drive down with us and go to Riley's eagle court of honor and then Disneyland the next day, and flew back that night.
