Zachary's Party

Zachary’s birthday party was the same day as Elizabeth’s, just that afternoon.  Busy day!  He picked a pirate theme and had so much fun.  He LOVED his party and still talks about it all the time.  

 He was so anxious for his friends to come!  He was trying out the fishing game while he waited.  Cracks me up!

 First the kids made a pirate map and assembled their treasure chests. 

Then they went to play games and got gold dubloons as prizes (they LOVED that!)  They ‘walked the plank’, went fishing, and had a bean bag toss.

 Then we had a treasure hunt.  John was the lead pirate (and totally played the part- he was great) and the treasure was cupcakes! 

 The Baezas, grandparents, Jennifer and Spencer and lots of friends all came.  It was a great party!  And with all of those people around, I hardly saw Jared at all…he has quite the fan club!
