Disneyland!
Being in So Cal, of course we had to use our annual passes and go to Disney! So far, we have been to Disneyland and California Adventure each once. It is busier than I have ever seen it. I think it's because of the concentrated week of spring break rather than spread out over the summer. Cause it is crazier than summer even! They are extending lines for rides soooo far, and there are just people on every square inch. Still, we got a lot of fun packed in!
Dude got to join us just in time for the parade. All 5 of us- Jared, Dad, Zach, Elizabeth and I- went on Casey Jr. and Peter Pan. Jared was glad to get out and get to go on something! He kept getting tense and excited. He didn't know what was going on...but he knew it was something fun!
We went on Winnie the Pooh, Tarzan's Treehouse, Rockets, parade, Buzz, Peter Pan, Casey Jr, Castle tour, Its a small world, Go go gadget coaster, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Fantasmic! It was our first time seeing Fantasmic, and thanks to mom and dad saving our spots while we rode Pirates, we had an amazing view! The kids loved the whole thing. Mickey having fireworks coming out of his hands and defeating Malificent were the highlights. They both sat on my lap, so my legs were completely dead when it was over, but it was worth it to hear them get so excited. When we left, all of main street was blocked off (you could only exit the park on the sidewalks) and full of people standing, watching the fireworks show. It was amazing to see the sea of people!
