Fourth of July a little late!

A little late on my Fourth of July posting! We had a fun day which started at 6:30am to watch the hot air balloons! They launch 25 or 30 hot air balloons from Provo High every year so it was fun to go see those. They launched early this year because it was so hot even that early. Zach liked the ones that were close to us.

Update: We are now in Pleasanton! The weather is so much cooler here than Utah! It is a nice change although slightly more humid. We will be here for 6 weeks while John does an internship. So fun but we are realizing it is going to be sad to leave our ward!

Last Saturday we had a BBQ with Pleasanton friends who are left in Provo. It will be sad for Kim to leave soon! It was fun to see everyone and we hope someday we can all live close to each other again.

They were so close!

You can't see this one very well but it's a pig and the sponsor is a bank. That one is always my favoite. The one that is a strawberry is also cute since a hot air balloon is the shape of a strawberry. It was too high to get a picture.


I gave him a little mohawk since his hair is getting so long :)

This week's milestones:
-Bought a pack n play this week for $3 at DI that is awesome. Zach is getting all over the place so he needed a smaller play area.
-Started CLAPPING! It is so cute, he leaves his left hand in one spot and then claps it with his right hand. Sometimes he says 'yaaay' since thats what we always said to get him to do it. Took him a while to finally want to clap but is adorable!
