soak it up

Zachary was so helpful with the unpacking after last weekend's trip!





Also- Zach got the Fisher Price Nativity set from Grandma and Grandpa Bishop! We let him open it when we got home from his cousin's house (Sam, Jake and Cole) and he was so excited! He was even more excited this morning. John gets up with him and feeds him and gets him ready and plays with him before I get up, so they played with the set this morning. It has a button for the song and plays 'Away in a Manger' Every time Zach pushes it, he dances (much like he does every time he plays with his Handy Manny tool set). Don't worry Grandma and Grandpa, we will video tape it soon!! It is fun to watch him make up his own beat to everything from commercials to video games to toys- anything with music. We were in the mall today and a group of kids was performing for everyone- Zach sat up in his stroller and clapped to his own beat throughout the whole song.
Walking update- he didn't even crawl today, unless he lost his balance and sat down and wanted to get somewhere so badly that walking wasn't going to cut it. For those who haven't witnessed, his a stud crawler- the mutual kids try to see how fast they can get him to go. So while he has known how to walk for a few months now, he has not been motivated in the least. Plus, we have not encouraged him much, just helping him when he wants to do it. It is so fun to see him walking around all over! He is a tall kid.
