Oakland Zoo and Father Son's Campout

Yesterday we went to the Oakland Zoo! It was Zach's first time at a zoo and he loved it. We went with Shelia A. and some boys she watches during the day and we all had so much fun. Zach wanted nothing to do with his stroller and luckily John was able to come with us, so he was good about holding his hand...more like trying to get John to hurry up and hold his hand so he could run closer to see all the animals. The weather was nice, not too hot and lots of shade. We saw pretty much everything with time for Zach and me to go home and take a nap and for John to go back to work :)





To add to this SUPER exciting day Zach, John and Wayne went to the Father Son's campout! They didn't stay the night, but they did come home at 11 after hours of fun :) They went to a campsite about 45 minutes from here. John said Zach ran around playing with all the other boys, running down the hill, watching the fire, touching a hot lantern (no injuries...just learned that it was hot!) They said it was so fun and Zach loved it. What a fun, long day!
