Elizabeth is two weeks old! She weighs 8 pounds 8 ounces! Almost a pound more than when she was born! She is 20 1/2 inches long, and her head is in the 92nd percentile
She is awake more now...but still sleeping pretty well. Every few nights there is one where she doesn't want to sleep much until about 1 or 2...then she doesn't want to be up much before 8. She is obviously a good eater and is so glad that Zach likes to share his toys with her by putting them on or around her face...we are working on that one. But we are glad he is the smothering type who hasn't paid too much attention to her rather than upset she is here!
I forgot to post Zach's numbers on his birthday post...he weighs 29 pounds and is 34 1/2 inches tall (both average numbers- he is just the right size :) although I think he has gained weight just since the baby was born...)

You never said, did Zach look like monster toddler after Elizabeth was born? Such a weird transition.
Elizabeth is so beautiful. You are truly blessed. Congratulations to the entire Bishop and Hogan families!
Chantalle, you said it perfectly: "The only way the second one can be easier is by having a first one. It doesn't matter on the babies themselves...just the fact that you have already been through it. Even if the second is different, you have a better idea of what is coming!"
Aren't you glad you read all those parenting books while you only had one child? There's no time for reading now, what with all that loving to do. :-)
You're wise beyond your parenting years! We cannot wait to meet Elizabeth. And, starting in October, if Zach wants to "play" with Sean (and Mary and Sarah) one weekend afternoon, we'd LOVE to take him off your hands for a few hours!
