Hard Work

We did it! We closed on the house yesterday! Wayne, Roma, John, and my Dad (I've been chasing Zach and bringing them home to nap since we are sick) have been working SO hard to make our house look great! Thank you!!

So far Dad sprayed the living room, but the sprayer wasn't working well at all so we returned it. He has a coat on the rest of the downstairs too, and John and Wayne are taping upstairs. Roma painted the garage (it looks SO good! All nice and clean) and today did an epoxy coat on the garage floor. It has to dry for several days and you can't put a car or anything on it for a week, so this was the perfect time to do that. I haven't seen it yet but am told it looks awesome. It is a light tan just like the walls, and if you don't have an epoxy finish on your garage floor, you are missing out :) Wayne and Roma and some of their kids have them, and it is SO nice! It is a finish that wipes off super easy. You can just wash off whatever spills on it (including car leaks) and it comes right off and looks like new. We are really excited to have a house...and a garage...can you tell??

So for Monday we will be painting the upstairs bedrooms- 3 out of 4 of them, and then a few other places. Hopefully we can finish those Monday, and then Monday or Tuesday have the carpets cleaned and then clean the bathrooms and kitchen. Then Wednesday will be moving day! Not till after lunch probably since everyone will get in from the airport around then and my aunt's family will be driving up from Southern California plus John has a meeting till noon.

Woohoo!!! It will be hard to wait to put our stuff in till Wednesday :) I love that house! It will be funny since we will put everything out and then put Christmas decorations up a few days later!
