Merry Christmas!

Ours was so fun! We had Jennifer's wedding the week before (pictures later...also lots on Facebook already) and then Jenn and Spencer left for Hawaii for the week. Our wedding present to them was a dinner at Mama's Fish House- SO GOOD! Someone gave us that as our present for our honeymoon and it is still our favorite meal ever. They loved it :)

Tuesday night we joined Mom, Dad, Caitlin and the Owen family at the lake house in So Cal (sort of near San Luis Obispo...just north of it) and we had a great week together!

There was no internet or cell phone service- yet all three teenagers survived (sort of)

Zach LOVED his trains. He played with them THE ENTIRE DAY. He stopped to eat some bacon for breakfast, stopped later for a PB&J, and took a nap, and then didn't want to stop for dinner or bed. I took pictures of him throughout the day and you can see the clock in the background- it was literally all day! He was playing in the afternoon and took one of the trains and said "goodnight!" and went downstairs to go to bed. So sweet.

















John did make him open other presents eventually...and he didn't get to his huge stocking until later in the day. Last night it clicked that he got all the Mater stuff from the "Mater's Tall Tales" and now LOVES it all.

Thank you Owens for inviting us out to the lake house! We had SO much fun and are so glad we got to come and share the holiday with you.
