Elizabeth 6 months

Happy 6 months to Elizabeth! (last week...)

Stats: 13 pounds (5th percentile) and 25 1/2 inches (50th percentile)

So basically, even though she has squishy thighs and chubby cheeks, she is a little small for her age. She has been waking up at night for the last two weeks, so we are going to try and bulk her up a little to get some more sleep.

She is starting to get teeth! There are two just barely poking through right now

She loves playing with toys and rolling all over the floor. She can turn herself to be upside-down from where she was, it's pretty funny.

She LOVES her brother. As long as he is around, she is happy. She is excited when he comes in the room and excited when he wants to play with her/by her. Even if she gets a little squished in the process, she never complains.

She likes coming to Mommy which I didn't really know too much until last week in Utah.

She gets so excited when John comes home. She turns to see him and starts giggling. He can make her giggle without even tickling her, cause she knows it's coming!

Elizabeth also loves to see her grandparents, which she gets to do a lot. She smiles so big for all four of them and gets so excited. She gets a good amount of spoiling by getting held a lot and lots of attention, her favorite things.

Elizabeth is a fairly fussy baby. She wants to be in on the excitement, but we also think she gets an upset tummy sometimes. I am hoping this gets better, cause she is usually really happy until she gets this look like she is in pain and then is really fussy. I have a pretty bland diet and avoid trigger foods, and we give her gas drops which help a lot.

Elizabeth makes us laugh all the time and we love her so much! She is getting an exersaucer this weekend (at the consignment sale at the Fairgrounds, can't wait!) which I think she will love.

The most frequent compliment she gets is 'She is a DOLL! Really, she looks like an actual DOLL!' :)
