Busy Saturday

John and Zach went on the Father-Son campout Friday night. They didn't stay overnight, they came home late and Zach got to sleep on his floor with his Lightning McQueen tent. He came home and told me about the marshmallows, hot dogs, 'friends' running, rocks, and that he wanted to go to bed.

Saturday I had Cristina's baby shower which was fun! I brought both kids and they entertained everyone.
Then we went to the A's game...well, we got to drop off Elizabeth with John's parents so the three of us went. It was an A's/Giants game, so it was packed and really fun. We were a little late because of the shower and because John's ticket flew out of his hand and behind a barbed wire gate. He crawled under it and got it back though :)

That night we went to a reception (while Wayne and Roma babysat both kids) for some friends who started dating last year when we were all hanging out! It was fun to see them, unfortunately it was super windy and cold that night though.

Now we are getting ready for Utah/Idaho! I am glad John gets to come for the whole time :)
When we came home to get Elizabeth after the baseball game she was SO excited! She lit up when we walked in and started laughing and couldn't stop and kept waving. It was so sweet. She loves to snuggle with me, watch/play with Zach, and play/get tickled by John.

When we came home from church yesterday Elizabeth was asleep in her car seat but woke up when we came inside...Zachary saw that she was awake and said 'Mom! Baby's awake! Get her out to play!' so I did, and I don't know which one was more excited to play! She loves anything he does, and then he was so excited that he could hand her toys and she would play with whatever he gave her. It was adorable. He is the best brother.

While we were at the game, Elizabeth got some Twizzlers. She loved them! She has had Red Vines and has decided she likes both. Hogans are big into Red Vines and pretty much always had them in the house growing up...the Bishops like Twizzlers. John has been converted to the Hogan side! :) Zach loved both, but got sick after he had some and has not eaten either since.
