Zoo Trip

Last Saturday we went to the zoo with John. We had gone the Friday before with some friends and it was much more crowded on a Saturday! Since we have had our membership and been so much this year, Zach had fun telling John which animal comes next as we walked around.

Snack break. Zach is REALLY into planning out what comes next for everything we do (we get in the car and he either asks where we are going or 'what's the plan, Mom?') so they were planning what would come next. PS- Note the awesome jogging stroller. It was $75 on craigslist of course! I love it.



We take the train sometimes, and of course had to with John there. But since it was a weekend-a holiday weekend- there was actually a line! Zach was really hoping to get the very back seat because it was the caboose and because there are some lights on it. We got it!
Elizabeth apparently remembers Disneyland. Waiting in a long line and then going on a ride...this was the first time she has been scared of the train. She was clenching onto John and then me until it started, then she was fine. She even reached out to people in line for them to come get her!

We got some great views and it was the perfect day. It felt good in the shade, slightly warm in the sun and so clear.
