Cherries

Last week my mom and I took the kids to Brentwood to pick Cherries. It was a fun trip and luckily it was a really nice day. The cherries were super easy to pick and were beautiful! We got some apricots too. We looked for strawberries and found someone who had some left, but since the strawberry season is about over there weren't too many left.








We also tried to grow some veggies in our small strip of dirt last year and ended up with some green beans and that was about it. Then we saw carrots coming in, so we let them grow for a while and finally pulled them out last Saturday. I was impressed so many grew! John and Zach planted more veggies after taking out all the carrots and washing the car (it was a productive day!) Zach has been so excited that he grew something and gets to eat it!
