Birthday Weekend

Birthday Weekend!

Elizabeth and Zachary's birthdays are 3 days apart. So we celebrated birthdays all weekend! Elizabeth kept informing everyone that it was her birthday. And if you ask her if she is 2 she will say 'No! I three!' They got to do fun things, like have an Oreo (ps- no milk in those) after lunch and crazy things like that :)

On Zach's birthday, he got to go on a long bike ride with Grandpa. Elizabeth went to the park with Grandma and met up with Zach and Grandpa, and they played and collected pine cones. Elizabeth got a turn too once they got home (I didn't get a picture of Zach on the bike, he got off too quickly to let his sister have a turn.)

Grandma Tracey and Dude flew in that afternoon (from an extended family reunion trip to New York) and Zach got to pick dinner- Meatballs. (Rigatoni's). We had gone there last week to celebrate Zach starting preschool with all 4 grandparents, but he decided that was his favorite and he wanted to go back :) Elizabeth had 'picked' our other favorite on her night- China Village!
The kids have been playing with their toys from us and their grandparents all week and having so much fun. It is confusing for Elizabeth because she thought it was still her birthday...and not only was it over, but she had to step down to let her brother have his big day! They have their birthday parties coming up this weekend which they are SO excited about. Elizabeth doesn't know why she is excited, but boy is she excited! :)
