Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas Eve!

We hosted Christmas Eve dinner, and of course- John made most of the dinner!  It was great, and it was fun to have both sets of parents with us.

After dinner we had a little program and then had the reading of the birth of Jesus, done by my Dad.  The kids took advantage of this being a perfect year for them to dress up!  They did have a donkey (John) who didn't make it into the pictures :)

After the reading, we played a game my mom did- where each person was given a wrapped gift and then Dad read a story that had 'right' and 'left' in it, and then you passed your gift when you heard those words.  It was fun and the kids giggled the whole time :) They were dollar store gifts, so it was f

un to see what everyone ended up with!

Then the kids opened their 'grammie jammies' from my mom and were off to bed!  I'll have to get the picture off of mom's phone.
