Virus

When we went to the lake in Mission Viejo on spring break, there was a bird virus in the water that I didn't know about.  Both of the kids got in the car and were SCREAMING about the itching and pain.  We got them home, showered, and then lots of creams to help.  A few hours and an oatmeal bath later, they were fine.

Then the next week as we were heading back home, they both started to have bumps all over their skin.  When we got home, we saw it had gotten progressively worse.
Zach's face was covered in red and spots and a rash, as well as on his arms and legs.  The first day back at school they sent him home, until the nurse realized he was having a reaction and it was not contagious at all.
It took days for it to go away!  Lots of allergy meds and inhaler treatments to help with everything going on.

And yes!  This is in addition to having hand, foot, mouth in February, and having crazy spring allergies and milk and nut allergies.  Poor kid!

Elizabeth had bumps as well, but hers were all over her legs and arms (not her face) and luckily they went down after a few days.  She had about 50 on her legs- it was so sad!
