Dad came out for a business trip! It happened to be his birthday the morning he left, so we went out for breakfast
The Baezas were so kind and watched our children so we could have a date night, and we came home to this beautiful artwork! Richard is so talented :) The kids didn't let us wash it off for days!
Beginning of the summer swimming- arm floaties. We LOVE having the pool to hop in to anytime, and to take a quick break when John is home from work for lunch. It is freezing though :)
Summer favorite food: Pesto chicken. We had this once a week, and anytime we hosted dinners. John discovered pesto this year and has decided it's amazing!

Jared likes to escape ever since he learned how to crawl (at 9 months). His life mission is to get out of the family room. He climbs over the bins...

...and escapes!
He also tries to get out on the other side. When he gets out, he crawls around everywhere, then goes back to the family room since that's where all the toys are :)
