New Drapes!! and a new cousin

This has been a big weekend in the Bishop household! We have laid the ugly (awful, dated, etc.) vertical blinds in our family room to rest! We needed an update, plus now it looks more like home :) We found the drapes at DownEast- but they are Pottery Barn (I know, so chic). We got some different ones for our room too, so I will post pictures once we get those up. They are too long so I'll have to hem them.
I think this might conclude all the changes we've made to our place...painting, putting in white outlets, new light fixtures acquired over time, and new knobs for all the cabinets (thanks to Roma!) and fixing the bathrooms. The only other thing I would want to do is paint the bathroom cabinets black, and the kitchen ones white, but I don't think it's going to happen. We have loved fixing up this place, and look forward to doing stuff to the next place!
All three of us are sick today, so we are on our king size bed taking naps and watching movies. John had this whole week off, which of course he spent finishing a paper he has to do before graduation and other homework. He is trying to get lots of stuff done so when the weather gets nice, he will be able to play!
On Thursday we got a new cousin! My mom's youngest sister, Kristin, had her third baby- Marshall Henry. They have a boy (3) a girl (20 months) and now another boy! He has lots of light hair, and is very cute! We saw him a few hours after he was born, but haven't seen him since. Zach is excited to have yet another boy 'cousin' near his age!!


Here's John's chair I gave him as a wedding present. One of the only new pieces of furniture we own...the other being our mattress :)
